Position Summary and Duties

Direct and coordinate the Parking and Transportation department including providing guidance, instruction and supervision to department personnel. Provide administrative oversight of the day-to-day operations of campus shuttle transportation, visitor parking, motor pool operations, special event shuttles and parking, and off-site charters. Provide leadership for the acquisition, maintenance tracking, and disposal of all University vehicles. Oversee safety, repair and cleaning of vehicles/equipment. The Director will also oversee CDL compliance and driver safety programs. Responsible for operational, capital and personnel budget management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required plus 5-8 years of relevant experience, particularly in logistical operations and managing fleet vehicles. Strong leadership, time management, project management, customer services and communication skills are needed. Must possess knowledge and experience with CDL and DOT compliance requirements. Must be able to work flexible hours based on departmental needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree preferred.
