Position Duties

The successful applicant will show evidence of, or potential for, excellence in teaching, a productive program of scholarly research, and commitment to service to the department, institution and discipline.

Successful candidates will have the ability and desire to teach business statistics and introductory economics to undergraduate and MBA students, along with upper level economics electives. Teaching load is expected to be 3/2 for the first 2 years moving to a 3/3 load thereafter.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess or expect to complete an Economics Ph.D. by August 1, 2018. The Economics Department welcomes applicants from all applied microeconomic fields but preference will be given to candidates in Environmental Economics, Behavioural Economics or Health Economics.

Candidates must possess or expect to achieve qualified faculty status per AACSB requirements through a combination of initial academic preparation, professional experience, and continued academic and professional engagement.
